The lawyers often participate in negotiations in the English language, with continental European, UK and US counterparts regarding complex and significant contracts for delivery and installation of technology, cooperation and partnering agreements, outsourcing agreements, distribution agreements etc.

Through the accumulated experience of our lawyers and the contacts and lawyers with whom FOYEN cooperate, our lawyers have considerable insight in the cultural differences of significance for the outcome of the negotiations. This also comprises insight into the significant and basic differences between Anglo/American law on one hand and continental Europea/Scandianvian law on the other hand, as the basis for differing approaches to the drafting, negotiation and interpretation of contracts.
